Leah + James :: 7.28.18

Y'all. This is the first wedding, in a while, that felt like the full gallery of photographs told the story far better than the post you are about to read. The precious first look, the adorable and in love vibes, the sunkissed portraits, and the pure joy that stands out in every image is proof that happy girls and happy boys are the prettiest of people and make for an infinitely more beautiful wedding. So do your self a favor and take a peak at the gallery and read the details in between. This couple made love and fun and joy the primary focus of the day and thankfully for us, Nyk + Cali were on hand to capture each and every adorable moment. Oh and the gorg design by Planner Sarah Whiseneant and Florist Angela Wilkes weren't too shabby either. To say the very least.

The day started with the girls drinking mimosas and helping Leah get into one of the prettiest lace designed wedding dress I've ever seen. It fit her so perfectly. Leah and James had the most precious first look filled with tears and hugs.

Nyk + Cali took portraits all over the farm prior to their ceremony. The sun peered through the pavilion during James + Leah's beautiful vows while a live Blue Tone Music musician played the harp during their wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony the wedding guests enjoyed charcuterie and drinks as the sun was sinking below the rolling hills and tree tops, and then were escorted into the reception barn for dinner, dessert and dancing.

During dinner Leah and James performed the sweetest choreographed first dance in the ballroom of the farmhouse surrounded by a dance floor lined all of their guests cheering them on and two friends turned musicians to play their song.

To end this celebration, guests were greeted with an outstanding fireworks display above the farm. It was so much fun we didn't want the night to end but James and Leah said their goodbyes and were sent off with sparklers, while the prettiest vintage Bentley served as their getaway car. I love how the day flowed and their details fit their personalities so well.
