Alexis + Michael :: 6.2.18

When wedding planner Sarah Whisenant started to initially plan and prepare for Alexis and Michael's day-of last December, she asked them why they wanted to get married at Mint Springs Farm, especially coming from New York. Alexis responded with, "It's the perfect venue for us. We wanted a lot of greenery, rolling hills, to be married in or around nature. The ceremony pavilion is a dream. We love that it's cozy, warm and welcoming but ultra chic and elegant at the same time! New York chic meets Nashville charm." So last week when I began gathering all of the dreamy details for this blog feature, I started by hand-selecting each of the gorgeous photos in the gallery below, then I reviewed all of the planning pages, design inspiration and list of bullet-point personalized ideas. As I browsed through all of the files and photos, I silently celebrated to myself realizing that all of the most important elements Alexis and Michael wanted to include on their day-of were perfected by our Mint Springs Farm team alongside the list of incredible vendors, all mentioned below. Every detail from this wedding is so ethereal; from the bride's gorgeous gown and hip leather jacket, to the clean and minimal floral designs. Alexis and Michael's wedding day is brimming with classic and elegant style, and now we can't stop starring at all of the beautiful photos; all belonging to photographer Parker Young. One of the last planning questions that Sarah asked was if there were any "must-haves" for their special day. They responded saying, "We just want our guests to walk away from this day thinking it was one of the most fun and and unique weddings they have ever attended." Well from what I can tell, there's no doubting all of the memorable fun that this group had. We hope it was everything our clients and their guests imagined, plus even more.
