An 'English Garden' Inspired Design
The details from Christina + Scott’s wedding day are the kind of elements that make you daydream. Everything seemed to have fallen perfectly in place despite the rain, from the soft color palette, their tabletop design, and all of the personal photos that they incorporated into their alfresco inspired wedding day. We don't normally devote a blog to the details but when you receive gorgeous photos like these, and when you have a couple as sweet as these two, it's more of a must feature. This blog focuses primarily on the details of the day, but not to worry, we have a whole album dedicated to Scott + Christina's stylish soirée on our Facbeook page. So go ahead + get lost in all of the dreamy garden inspired details below.. | Photos by Sarah Sidwell Photography

We love that Sarah took the time to capture specific areas around the property, like the bridal suite, before the bridal party and vendors began to arrive. In a way, capturing the calm in each space before the anticipation of the day begins, serves as sweet keepsake of photos of the venue for the couple to always remember each detail of their day.

The inspiration for their wedding was an English Garden party. Our floral team blew us away with the organic and natural flower arrangements, that included light-hearted colors like blush, ivory and soft pinks. Since we're all swooning over strung lights over a romantic dinner, that is exactly what we strived for–a whimsical, natural, light-hearted garden party with all of those elements. The neutral color palette paired naturally with the venue itself, and they did not want to take anything away from the natural beauty around their day, so we just enhanced it. The florals looked like we had just hand picked them from our garden–imperfectly perfect. The soft pinks and eucalyptus green was used to complement the overall design and feeling of the evening. From personal vows to custom wedding bands, this couple made every detail their own..

Inspiration | An English Garden Affair
Color Palette | Mauve, Steele Blue, Sage, Dusty Rose, Cream + Ivory
This English Garden inspired wedding has so many things going for it: soft and pretty paper goods, exquisite vintage china, romantic bridal gown, and wild floral for extra whimsy. This day was simply designed to embrace early marital bliss and these two truly showed what love looks like. The decor included hanging candelabras, organic elements, crafted place settings, draped linens, pressed glass, and rustic romantic styling. Nothing was overdone or over placed including the tabletop; the tabletop was simple, organic, and pure.
