Alysse+Allen | 3.11.17

This chic celebration was met with a surprising mix of spring weather, from early morning beams of sunshine to light snowfall during their first look. Designed by a primarily neutral palette, the decor is light and airy with bold touches of hanging greenery and soft grey tones. | All of the details below were captured by Rae Marshall Photography.

The ceremony began at 5 o'clock in the evening and just as the sun was starting to fade off behind the hills, they promised forever and each said I Do. Due to weather, their cocktail hour was moved into the reception barn.Tabletop design was crafted with dusty peach tones, suspended candelabras, calligraphy inspired table numbers, satin linen, and antique flatware. Alysse+Allen wanted a spring approach without the typical bright, bold multi-color floral and sans metallic details. Pressed glass and hanging chandeliers added romance and intimacy to the evening.

Allen + Alysse chose the song, "Forever Like That" by Ben Rector for the first dance as Husband and Wife. During their reception, guests requested songs by Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake, and James Taylor just to name a few. For the last dance of the night, Allen + Alysse invited all of their guests out on the dance floor to send the night off in style, dancing to the forever popular hit, "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey.
