This late April wedding was the recipe for a perfectly elegant evening. In fact, I spent quite a bit of time browsing through their gorgeous photos, and for good reason. Chelsie and Bryan's wedding day is packed full of details and layer upon layer of styled sophistication. From the ridiculously pretty floral arrangements, the soft pop of pink in the bridal bouquet, to the chiffon linens draped on the farm tables.. Each and every detail crafted to create an inviting and romantic atmosphere. A natural palette made for a naturally beautiful day.. | Photos by Crystal K Martel
Color Palette ::
Ivory tones with mixed metallic accents such as silver and gold, and understated touches of green hues.
Floral Design ::
For Chelsie's bridal bouquet, she wanted an arrangement that was wild + airy yet pulled together, and she also requested a very small pop of dusty pink in her bouquet only. Our floral design team used Juliet's for the pop of soft pink, crafting her bouquet to subtly stand a part from her bridesmaids. Each bouquet was tied with a satin ivory ribbon, and the bridesmaids bouquets were similar in style to the brides. The groom's and groomsman's boutonnieres were designed to match the ladies. Other floral design included in the ceremony pavilion, where Chelsie + Bryan chose to upgrade their package, requesting greenery draped along the altar, with floral pew markers that were hand-tied with silver satin ribbon. For the reception, they carried the same color palette and floral design onto the tabletop, adding larger arrangements and traces of silver accents to create a cohesive feel.
Decor + Design ::
For the ceremony pavilion decor, Chelsie + Bryan requested an "unplugged ceremony" sign be placed at the entry way for guests, along with our "no sides" sign as well. An unplugged ceremony means that our couple asked their guests to refrain from using their mobile phones until after the ceremony ends. We also arranged our variety of lanterns at the entry way, paired with a simple white washed table to greet guests. For the reception, we designed a simple meets elegant tabletop design composed of mercury glass, gold and silver votives, silver scalloped pieces, and antiqued silver votives filled with simple floral arrangements. Each table was draped with ivory chiffon runners, scallop-edge plates, silver cutlery, and pressed glasses. Greenery and teardrop candle vases were suspended overhead, while guest favors were thoughtfully positioned at each place setting. The overall design was simple, almost minimalist, while all of the details came together to deliver a romantic ambiance + inviting environment for guests.
